Join us at the Farmers Market on Saturday Mornings
May - October 9am to 1pm
We envision the Hudson Farmers Market on Carmichael to strategically help create a local food community that strives to cultivate sincere sustainability in the St. Croix Valley with like-minded farmers, artisan food producers, loyal consumers and buyers, and community leaders.
Our goals -
* Create a stronger, sustainable local food community.
* Provide high quality, nutritious, local farm fresh products directly to St. Croix Valley residents.
* Encourage an increase in the consumption of fruits and vegatables by children and adults.
* Provide a fun, holistic community gathering place celebrating locally produced foods.
* Serve as a convenient pick-up point for CSAs members (Community Supported Ag.)
* Serve as a fresh sourcing location for chefs and caterers.
* Increase sales of locally grown produce, meat and poultry products, and flowers.
* Support the long term success of small farmers using sustainable production practices.
Sustainable is defined as economically viable, environmentally sound, and socially responsible.
